Hi, I’m Shawn Merriman. Originally from the Hampton Roads area, I have lived here my entire life.

Being 6’7”, of course I played basketball. I also took on martial arts to form discipline. That turned into a 15-year journey, and 2 blackbelts.

Almost straight out of high school I went into government contracting to help support the large military presence in the area. My respect for our men and women who serve, and my admiration for the amazing real estate in Coastal Virginia, led me to pursue real estate as a career. I decided to fulfill a long-time dream of mine and got my Virginia real estate license.

I found a home at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate - falling in love with the going Vertical mindset. I like to say rise or fall does not matter, as long as you have helped a few people. I look forward to helping YOU go Vertical too!
